MONA SYMPOSIUM ON NATURAL PRODUCTS & MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY
GENERAL INFORMATION

1. TRANSPORTATION
Your bus will display a Mona Symposium poster.

Wednesday January 3
• Bus will leave the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel at 8:30 a.m. for the Mona Campus.
• Bus will leave the Reception at The Department of Chemistry at 9:00 p.m. for Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.

Thursday January 4
• Bus will leave the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel at 8:30 a.m. for the Mona Campus.
• Bus will leave the Chemistry Department at 5:30 p.m. for Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.

Friday January 5
• Bus will leave the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel at 8: 30 a.m. for the Mona Campus.
• Bus will leave the Chemistry Department at 3:45 p.m. for Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.

Saturday January 6
• Bus will leave the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel at 8:30 a.m. for the Mona Campus.
• Bus will leave the Chemistry Department at 9:00 a.m. for Lyssons, St. Thomas.
• Bus will leave Lyssons, St Thomas at 4:00 p.m. for Mona Campus and then Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.

2. SOCIAL PROGRAMME
Wednesday January 3 - UWI, Mona campus.
Opening Ceremony, 9:30 a.m.
Coffee, 10:30 a.m.
Reception, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Friday January 5 - Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.
Conference Dinner, 7:30 p.m.

3. LUNCH
Lunch (pre-ordered – see attached information with QR Code for ordering lunches) and drinks will be available at the Mona Visitors' Lodge Bar Wednesday to Friday. The Bar accepts credit (VISA, MasterCard) and debit cards.
Lunch may also be purchased at Juici Patties, Burger King and Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), located on Campus. Cash, credit (VISA, MasterCard) or debit cards are accepted.

4. CONFERENCE PHOTO
The conference photograph will be taken at the start of the Lunch Break on Thursday.

5. SPEAKERS MAKING POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS
Participants who will be making presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint software are strongly urged to have their files loaded onto the computer in the lecture hall. This will allow for a smoother flow from one presenter to another. These files will be deleted after the presentations.

6. INTERNET ACCESS (E-MAIL FACILITIES)
WiFi is available in and around the campus (MonaConnect).
